This tsuba is my entry for the 2016 NBSK Tobunkyo competition, where it was awarded a Gold prize.

Carved shinchu base with copper, shakudo, various shibuichi and gold inlays.

​

This piece was also featured in an exhibit of the entries for the competition, at the Museum of Iron in Sakaki, Japan from June-August 2016. I will include a copy of the exhibit catalog (in which this piece is published) in the sale of this tsuba.
